| so i haven't posted in a really long time which is funny.. just thought i would go ahead and tell what all is new in my life. first off i am not only a theatre major anymore. i had to switch back to BA and i have added all the prerequisites for medical school. so thats the plan. graduate... go to med school... emergency medicine... so yeah i'm super excited!! that is pretty much how i knew that i had made the right decision. i was so excited to get started and everything from planning to spending the $800 on books (yeah thats the one draw back) is so interesting and i cant wait to actually learn something. i had just started to feel that while theatre was fun, i had spent this entire fall semester not learning anything at all.. it wasn't exciting or engaging at all.. i have always experiences, however odd, a desire to go to class, a desire to learn, and i found myself dreading the monotony of doing the same monologue day after day with no real critique on how to get better.. i am not going to pay 35,000 dollars a year to learn nothing. this switch will allow me to be acttively involved and seeking out the knowledge available to me.. there are so many more classes offered in every other major, allowing you to expand and refine what your interests are before you get out into the world where as in the theatre, the biggest distinction is straight plays v. musicals... the community of theatre will always be important to me and although i will not be taking many classes (none next semester) i will still be in and out and at crew and such. so thats basically whats up with me. in a very small nutshell.. see you around guys! |

| No Fair!! I signed up for lighting elements not lighting design... i think it is silly and ridiculous that we have to do an entire freekin light plot.. like for serious.. i hope that i'm not the only one that is this annoyed at the idea.. i dunno maybe i just have other things i would like to do and it can be quite difficult when you wait like an hour for the computer that you have your stuff saved on and then someone jumps in and gets ahead of you... hmmm not fair at all.. i shouldve just e mailed it to myself.. and this just now occurred to me so i kinda feel like a dumb butt... anyhoo... rehearsal is really fun so far. this week is when it actually is starting to feel like i'm in a show. i have to be there every day for more than just like 20 minutes.. although that is quite fun. yay for liz stepping on my skirt on the way out of the vom.. i seriously laughed for at least 10 minutes. good times.. my legs hurt cuz i went running again which is good but it will now suck for the next several days.. and i decided that i am gonna go at least 4 days a week... i don't know why i did that to myself.. sigh... whatev peeps.. i'm out.. and by out i mean i am gonna move on to some other form of procrastination.. peace!! |

| So yeah i am having a great time.. the runway was awesome!!! I ended up wearing 6 looks cuz one of the girls didnt show up which i didnt understand at all.. but i almost ended up wearing a shirt as a dress cuz i couldnt get my pants on in time.. it was really funny and one of the girls was just laughing at my awkward run/put your pants on/ zip up the boot dance thing i had to do.. it was pretty funny i must admit.. but yeah i am anxious to do the postmodern scene... yay for being in my underwear yo.. mom is coming in.. that will be fun. ok heading out!! bye |
